Romance in Venice

Romance in Venice

Location Information

Beneath 13th century porticoes,  you and your new husband gaze out to one of the most romantic cities in the world. A city where the arts are treasured, a city where the streets glimmer as a telltale gondola glides past. You are in Venice. From the elegance of the only restaurant looking out on legendary St. Mark's Square, you bask in the romantic ambiance. St. Mark's Cathedral and its emblematic bell tower rise high into the fading sky. You seem to have slumbered into a daydream. Then, someone raises a toast to you and your new husband, the most loving couple in all of Venice's romance. This is no daydream. It is a dream come true.

Style

Two distinct atmospheres greet you when you come into this historical restaurant. Downstairs, the café radiates a light and airy feeling, with pale yellow walls, accentuated by stuccoes and period paintings. Red marble table tops and delicate sconces add to the indiscreet charm. Upstairs, a more sumptuous atmosphere awaits, with rich hardwood door frames, wall tapestries deep as garnet, and golden accents to illuminate the room.

Wedding Receptions

Elegant dinners for 72 guests and classic cocktails for 50 can be hosted in either the restaurant or the café. Both exemplify the culinary refinement of local cuisine and gracious service best illustrates Venetian hospitality. The café's own small orchestra can provide music, completing the genteel scene of a bygone era.

Activities

In the surrounding area you can of course enjoy gondola rides, but also visits to museums, St. Mark's cathedral, and the Murano glass factory.

Enchantment

Being the only restaurant on St. Mark's Square, this venue offers a unique setting for a reception, at the heart of the most famous Venetian monument.
