Location Information

Somewhere between austere elegance and authentic hospitality lies this 14^th century bastion. The castle and its surrounding medieval town cling to the precipitous hill overlooking the Stirone river. As the sun climbs high into the pale sky, the rays seem to illuminate the dove-tailed ramparts, ideal for a panoramic stroll around the perimeter of the castle. Come to the end of one rampart. Salmon-colored roses bloom on one side. On the other, a weather-worn stone flower pot cradles violets. You remove your shoes to feel the grass pushing its way between the cobblestones. This is the kind of place that can seem so comforting. Each door opens onto welcoming colors: daffodil yellow, carmine red, fresh peach. With up to 250 guests, you can celebrate your love in grand style. After a ceremony at the village's 12^th century church, join the party, taking aperitifs on the panoramic terrace.  In the gardens, fountains babble softly, music dances through the air. As the evening falls, make your way into a sable bricked dining room, where golden light plays off the texture of the ancient walls. Here, one of the best serving staff in the region waits at your disposal, seeing to it that you and your guests never forget how you celebrated your romance in this medieval castle.
