FVG is a place to discover, in its polite and discreet hospitality, a little shy at the beginning but slowly winning you over, its long-established tolerance as the result of uninterrupted invasions, conquers and blending with other races; its natural beauty intelligently preserved and concealed from the most. Magic spreads around from the language spoken in the local restaurant and trattoria kitchens and the spell of the sophisticated yet earthly food is easily spelt: an unforgettable experience of the senses.
A weird example of middle- European culture, the four chief towns differ very much for landscape, sights and attitude of the inhabitants, yet they all reveal the wide range of offers a visitor can count on.
The Alps, the rich valleys, the hills and the plain, the low sandy coast of the Adriatic Sea and the rocky eastern shore, are all part of this small area, but they all equally grant the fulfilment of their promise.
The mountain frame encloses a soft heart: monthly fairs celebrate the quaintest traditions and folklore of bygone days, spring opens her breast to seeds and plants and nature knows a rich re-birth, whilst summer closes with the expectations for the new wine, fall will store it in the most exclusive canteens, and winter grants heaps of snow covering the pointy roofs of picturesque mountain villages…

An outline of Friuli Venezia Giulia
One of the smallest Italian regions in the North- East of the country, Friuli Venezia Giulia ranges from the Alps to the sea, showing a fairly good number of different landscapes and peculiar places.
The lands on the borders with Austria (North) and Yugoslavia (East), are deeply influenced by such a closeness and the people and villages on both sides here share a strange mixture of cultures and traditions, so that to sometimes generate an idiom of their own.
Castles and villas in Friuli Venezia Giulia are the possible settings of your perfect day, and Italy sure is the right destination for your wedding: an unequalled feast that joins and a party to remember ever after.
