Lazio - Latium and Rome Region
A Chateau and Villa Wedding destination

Setting the venue of your Italian Wedding within the borders of the Lazio region might give the event a unique perspective . As Latium does not only mean Rome, its land roaming from mountains to Tyrrhenian Sea deserves a note. Mid-mountain pastures for herds of cattle and sheep, large green fields of thorny artichokes and the diffused light purple of the prickly flowers of cardoons, the never-ending line of olive trees and vineyards only interrupted by the enclosed estate of modern rural farmhouses, which stone and brick façades remind of their long-established dynasty of hard workers, but which elegant and classy interiors is the satisfied mark of their success.. Not far from the indented coastline, a handful of small islands witness the certainty of a paradise on earth.. In the inland, and close to Rome, the way that connects the Roman castles mainly moves along the ancient Via Appia and reaches the towns of Castel Gandolfo, old summer papal residence, Albano, which famous and delicious wine bears the same name, Ariccia and its monumental viaduct, the panoramic sights of Genzano, located on the slopes of its volcanic crater and the lake of Nemi, then Rocca di Papa which height (949m.) allows a breath-taking view of the lakes and the arc of mountains around, downward to Marino and its Roman and Gothic remains. Don’t forget the small isle of Ponza, still mainly wild and scarcely populated, and its rich environment, or the other chief towns that may keep more than just one surprise in store for you…
